Man may have vital information after laptop theft


Victim discovers break-in when he wakes up to discover door ajar

A picture has been released of a man police would like to speak to after a burglary on Crouch Street in Banbury.   A laptop was stolen during the break in which happened during the early hours of Monday morning.

The theft was discovered when the occupant of the property – a man in his 20s – woke to find his living room door and front door both left slightly ajar.   The man found his laptop was missing.

The break-in occurred sometime between midnight and 7am.   No other property was taken.

Police believe the man in the CCTV image may have vital information that could help with their investigation.

Investigating officer PC Jessica Andrews, based at Banbury police station said: “I am appealing for anyone who recognises this man, or if you believe it could be you, to please get in touch.
