Police asked motorists to avoid the area
The A361 just outside Bloxham has been closed this afternoon (Monday) due to a serious accident.
The closure was in place on the South Newington Road, between Bloxham and the Milcombe turn.
Thames Valley Police said they are completing accident investigation work and asked people to avoid the area and find an alternative route.
Stagecoach said that their 488 bus service was affected by the closure with delays to be expected.
The road reopened around 8pm.
