The start line will be in Browning Road
Up to 400 runners will be taking part in the annual Banbury 5 race this evening.
Organised by Banbury Harriers Athletics Club, the run is one of eight in a series of road races making up the East Midlands Grand Prix.
The start line for the 5 mile course is in Browning Road with runners setting off at 7.45pm. They will head along Queensway and then out of town on the Broughton Road. In Broughton the route follows Wykham Lane to join the Bloxham Road and a run back into Banbury, to the finish line opposite the Easington Pub.
No road closures will be in place, but drivers who will be in the area are warned to be prepared for slight delays and to be cautious of runners on the road.
Entry is available on the night for anyone who fancies the challenge. Parking is available at Wykham Park Academy.
