Banbury man in court over child sex offences dating back two decades

The offences happened at locations in Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Dorset

A Banbury man has appeared in court in relation to child sex offences which occurred over 20 years ago.

Eighty-one year old Robert Headhouse-Benson appeared at Northampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday last week (February 7).

He’s charged with 10 counts of indecent assault of a girl under the age of 14, at locations in Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Dorset between 1997 and 2005.

Headhouse-Benson was released on court bail until his next appearance at Northampton Crown Court on March 20.
