Bodicote villagers called to DIY SOS

Volunteers are sought to help with a range of practical tasks
People in Bodicote are being urged to roll up their sleeves and support a community clean-up effort at the Village Hall and Kingsfield.
A “DIY SOS” style event is being organised to help prepare both the hall and field ahead of contractors arriving to work on the play area next week. Its hoped that will be reopened in time for the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of May.
This Friday and Saturday volunteers are being sought to help with a range of practical tasks, including clearing gutters, cleaning play equipment, tidying pathways, general maintenance, repainting fixtures and removing unwanted items.
Organisers say any level of help is welcome, whether for a couple of hours or across the full day.
Work will begin on both days at 10am.
