Boy has ear cut whilst pinned against a wall

The assault took place on West Bar Street

A teenage boy in Banbury has been pinned up against a wall by a group of individuals, one of whom cut his ear.

The assault happened between 10.15 and 10.30am on Monday last week (May 20).

The victim had been approached by the group outside of Beechfield House on West Bar Street.

After the assault the victim then fell over and the group left the scene.    The victim didn’t require further treatment.

Thames Valley Police would like to hear from anyone who can help with their investigation into the assault.

Investigating officer Francesca Voicu, based at Banbury police station said “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen this incident or who has dash-cam, doorbell or phone footage from the area around the time that it happened, to please get in touch.

“I urge anyone with information or footage to contact us by calling 101 or via our website, quoting reference number 43240236070.

“Alternatively, you can report information completely anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
