Children cheer as Child First crowned Advent window winner

Businesses created festive displays in the run-up to Christmas
The team at Child First nursery on the Horsefair in Banbury have been presented with a trophy for their entry in an Advent Window competition, organised by Banbury BID.
In the run up to Christmas 24 town centre businesses were challenged to create a seasonal window display – one for each day ahead of Christmas Day itself.
Following a public vote Child First nursery has now been announced as the winner, with a captivating window which stole the hearts of those who saw it. They’ve been presented with a trophy for their creativity.
A spokesperson for Child First said: “This was such a fun community event to be involved in. When we shared the news with all of the Preschool children they all cheered and said that winning made them feel happy and excited.”
Jasmine Gilhooly, Strategist for Banbury BID, said: “We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the businesses and individuals who participated in Banbury BID Advent Windows 2023. Your contributions have not only made our town shine brighter during the festive season but have also fostered a sense of community and togetherness.”
