Fire at Oxford Road property in Banbury

Three fire engines were called late on Thursday morning

Emergency services have been dealing with a shed and garage fire at a property opposite the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.

Oxfordshire County Council’s Fire and Rescue Service were called at 11.28am.   They sent three fire engines to the blaze in the Oxford Road, from Banbury, Hook Norton and Bicester fire stations.

Fire crews currently remain at the scene.

South Central Ambulance Service are also reported to have been called to the scene.

Thames Valley Police say there will be some congestion and traffic delays for sometime whilst the area is made safe.    They suggest people avoid the area if possible.
