Firefighters deal with Longford Park field fire

They are at the scene for five hours
Firefighters dealt with another local field fire yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).
They were called to the blaze on land east of the Longford Park estate at 4.42pm.
Five crews attended and dealt with the fire, which affected two acres of farmland stubble and had spread to a hedgerow.
Smoke from the fire, behind Chaffinch Way, blew across Longford Park and Bodicote.
Crews were able to leave the scene at 9.52pm having extinguished the fire.
It’s the second field fire in a week, with firefighters having dealt with a field fire in Adderbury on Friday evening.
