Police do not believe there is a risk to the wider public
Five men have been arrested after four vehicles were damaged following an altercation in Banbury.
Thames Valley Police said officers were called to Dover Avenue at around 11.31pm on Saturday after reports of a criminal damage incident involving a group of men.
When officers arrived they found four vehicles had been damaged. Five men were arrested in connection with the incident and have since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “Officers are working hard to understand the circumstances and chronology of the events and it is believed all parties arrested were known to each other. We do not believe there is a risk to the wider public.”
Neighbourhood policing teams will have an increased presence in the area while the investigation continues.
