The new season begins on Saturday August 5

Festive local derbies are lined up for Banbury United and Brackley Town once again this year.

The latest National League North fixtures were announced this lunchtime with the Saints set to visit Station Approach on Boxing Day and the Puritans heading to St James Park on New Years Day.

Banbury United’s season begins with a home game against Spennymoor Town on August 5.   A week later, as many people head to seaside locations for their summer holidays, Mark Jones takes his squad to coastal North Yorkshire to face Scarborough Athletic.

Meanwhile Brackley Town get their campaign underway with an away fixture against Chorley.   A week later they face Buxton at St James Park.   The Saints first weekday evening game sees newly promoted Bishop’s Stortford heading to Brackley on Tuesday August 15.
