An ice cream van was on hand for Magdalen College students in Brackley as they collected their GCSE results on Thursday morning.
220 students sat examinations earlier this year and headed to the school to collect their results at 11am.
Headteacher Tom Hollis said: “Congratulations to our 2023 GCSE cohort who have achieved success right across the curriculum. We are delighted with the commitment and application shown by our students over five years of their education.
“We often remind students that every grade in every subject matters. This year group have risen to that challenge and walk away with a fantastic set of results that set them up for their next steps.
“We’re delighted that so many students are staying with us to study in our Sixth Form. Those moving on to new places go with our blessing and best wishes.
“With this cohort of students, we can be assured that the future is bright!”
