Huge crowds gathered around the arena to see great acts including Stagecoach Theatre Company, School for Stars, North Oxon Academy Funk Band, and K&H Falconry’s birds of prey display.

Cllr Ahmed said: “It’s a beautiful park – a marvellous setting for a party – and it was my great pleasure to see so many people enjoying themselves.”

He added: “The weather was good – except for the last hour when the rain showers arrived.”
