Last chance: don’t miss the opportunity to say what you want for Banbury

The consultation will shape the plan for how Banbury will develop

There’s just one day left to have your say on what you think Banbury town centre should look like in years to come.

The Banbury Vision 2050 consultation has been running since November, but the final day we can submit our views is tomorrow (Monday).

The results of the consultation will feed into the development of a vision for the town centre so it meets the needs of residents, visitors, businesses and other organisations now and into the future.

Wayne Hemingway from Hemingway Design has undertaken similar projects elsewhere in the country and is working with Cherwell District Council here.

Speaking at the launch of the consultation Wayne said its really important lots of people have their say: “Often you see Council surveys with 100 people – sometimes that’s all they get.    But how can you judge what a population wants on 100 people?

“It’s thousands of people we need.   If you get thousands of people, then you know that the public has spoken.   That’s why it’s vital that everybody tells their friend to do this.”

The survey can be found at banburyvision2050.co.uk.
