Male exposes himself to woman in Banbury underpass

The incident happened during Monday morning’s rush-hour

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was subjected to an indecent exposure incident in Banbury.

It happened in the underpass beneath Concorde Avenue at around 8.30am on Monday morning (April 20).   The woman was walking from Bridge Street towards the rear of Lidl, heading to Spiceball Sports Centre, when she encountered an unknown man standing in the underpass.

As she approached, the man spoke to her and behaved in an inappropriate manner. The woman was not physically harmed but left distressed.

Thames Valley Police is urging anyone who was in the area at the time, witnessed the incident, or has experienced similar behaviour in the same location to come forward.

Anyone with information, CCTV, dash-cam or mobile phone footage is asked to contact police on 101 or via their website, quoting reference number 43260197969.
