Man seriously injured following illegally ridden motocross bike collision

The vehicle was being ridden between Broughton Road and Lennox Gardens
A man is in hospital with serious injuries after a motocross motorcycle collided with a lamp post. The bike was being driven illegally through a Banbury alleyway at the time.
The collision occurred at about 7pm on Sunday April 27 in the alleyway between Broughton Road and Lennox Gardens. No other vehicles were involved.
The rider of the motocross motorcycle was a man in his thirties. He remains in hospital from the serious injuries he sustained.
Thames Valley Police is hoping to hear from anyone with information in connection with the incident.
Investigating officer, PC Steve Lane said: “I’m appealing to anyone in the area who has footage, whether via a mobile phone, CCTV or doorbell, to contact the force.
“You can call us on 101 or leave any information via our website, quoting investigation reference number 43250204922.”
