The Oxford college ants to build 200 homes on a farm field

A meeting is being held tonight to discuss the latest planning application to build in the fields between Hanwell and Banbury.

Its being promoted by Keep Hanwell Village Rural – the campaign group which was set up to protect the village from being engulfed by an expanding Banbury.

Tonight’s meeting has been organised in response to an outline planning application by Trinity College in Oxford, who want to build up to 200 new houses on a farm field to the west of the B4100, opposite the Vistry site which has already been approved in the gap between Banbury and Hanwell.

Tonight’s meeting is being organised to gather people’s thoughts on the proposal.   Its being held in Hanwell Village Hall at 6pm.   A full public meeting will be organised in due course.
