Motorcyclist in hospital following collision between bike and van

The collision occurred at around 7am on Thursday morning

An 18-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries to his wrist and arm following a collision between a van and a motorbike in Banbury yesterday (October 26).

The man was taken to the Horton General Hospital, where he remains.

The collision happened at around 7am at the roundabout junction of Warwick Road and Cromwell Road, involving a grey Ford Transit van and a black Yamaha motorbike.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to the incident to get in contact.

Investigating officer PC Dean O’Dell, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “Both driver and rider are co-operating with our investigation and I am appealing to anybody who witnessed the collision or who may have dash-cam of the incident to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
