NHS staff invited to free celebration at Morrisons

The free buffet for NHS staff is part of a weekend marking the 75th anniversary of the NHS
Staff at Morrisons supermarket in Banbury will be marking the 75th anniversary of the NHS being founded by inviting current NHS staff to a celebratory event this weekend.
On Saturday afternoon a free buffet is being provided in the Morrisons café for anyone who works for the NHS. Staff just need to show their ID when they pop in between 3 and 5pm.
During the event a birthday cake will be cut.
The celebration comes as part of a weekend of fundraising events for the NHS at the supermarket, with members of Banbury Rotary Club and the hospital radio station both involved.
Mandy Merry, Morrison’s Community Champion, said: “Without the NHS so many people would struggle to survive. We are a proud country and its important to recognise the NHS is part of who we are. Its one of the best in the world and that should not be forgotten.”
