She failed a roadside breath test in Manor Road

A woman has been charged with drink driving after being stopped by police in Brackley.

Officers stopped the 54-year-old woman, from Sulgrave, in Manor Road yesterday morning (May 27) after becoming concerned she may have been driving while intoxicated.

Police said the woman failed a roadside breath test and was arrested before being taken into custody.  Here she provided a further evidential reading said to be around four times the legal limit.

She has since been charged with drink driving and bailed to appear at court on June 15.
