Princess Anne welcomed in Hook Norton

The King’s sister was in the village for a private event at the brewery
Princess Anne was welcomed by a number of well-wishers in Hook Norton yesterday.
Residents, including flag waving children from Hook Norton Primary School, gathered outside the Pear Tree Inn hoping to catch a glimpse of the King’s sister.
Its understood she visited the village to officially open Hook Norton Brewery’s new stables block, rebuilt following a fire in May 2024. The official opening ceremony was private, with the entire site closed to the public all day.
But as she left the village, Princess Anne’s car stopped so two local children could present her with flowers before she continued her journey.
