Record breaking Silverstone attendance

In comparison to last year 64,000 more people attended over the four day event
A record-breaking 564,000 fans attended this weekend’s Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, making it the biggest crowd ever seen at an F1 event.
The attendance surpassed last year’s record of 500,000.
Yesterday’s Grand Prix was won by Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, with George Russell for the Brackley based Mercedes team finishing second.
Despite the huge crowds Northamptonshire Police said that just 26 crimes were reported and 15 arrests made.
