Retailer confirms town centre store to remain open after exiting retail park

New Look hopes customers will visit them in the town centre
A clothing retailer has reaffirmed their commitment to Banbury town centre after they vacated their unit at a local retail park.
New Look closed their store at Banbury Gateway on Monday this week but have told Banbury FM they intend to remain in the town centre in the Castle Quay Shopping Centre.
They are hoping people who used to shop with them at the retail park will now visit them in the town centre.
The move will be seen by some as a positive sign for the town centre after a number of high-profile casualties in recent years.
A New Look spokesperson said: “Our store on Banbury retail park closed on 19th February. Our nearby store in Banbury town centre remains open, and where possible colleagues from the retail park have relocated to this location.
“We would like to thank the local community for shopping with us at the retail park and we look forward to welcoming them into our town centre store.”
