A Permission in Principle planning application has been submitted for land to the east of Manor Farm in Horley.

The site, which is opposite the village’s cricket pitch, backs onto the gardens of properties on Gulliver’s Close.

Permission in Principle is an alternative way of obtaining planning permission for housing-led developments, which is split into two stages.   The first stage establishes whether a site is suitable in-principle.   If the first stage is approved the second is when the detailed development proposals are assessed.

The applicant, Mrs Michelle Whitton, has submitted a proposed site layout showing four properties on the plot.

Cherwell District Council is inviting comments from the public and these must be submitted by May 16.
