Three men do a runner without paying after eating and drinking at restaurant

Police are trying to track down three men who dined at Miller & Carter in Banbury but fled the restaurant without paying.

The three walked into the eatery on Stroud Park last Tuesday evening (May 12) at 7pm.   After consuming a meal and drinks they left at 8.10pm without paying.

They were seen departing in a blue van having said they were staying locally at a hotel in the area.

All three are white men.   The first is described as in his fifties, around 5ft 10 ins tall and of average build, with grey hair and stubble.   He was wearing a grey tracksuit.

The second individual is in his thirties, around 6ft tall with a slim build. He had black hair and a black beard and wore a black tracksuit.

The third male is described as in his mid-twenties and of a larger build with black hair.   He was wearing shorts with a t-shirt and a sports zip up jacket.

Investigating officer, Sergeant Steven Kelly, said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who may have information to please come forward.

“I would ask that anyone who was in or near to Miller & Carter around this time, to please get in touch with us if you saw anything or have any dash cam footage of a blue van. 

“If you have any information, you can contact police by calling the 24-hour non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 43260210718, or by making a report online.”
