Two arrested as part of investigation into drugs and firearms offences in Banbury

Both were arrested for drugs offences and one also for a firearms offence
As part of an ongoing investigation into drugs and firearms offences police have executed warrants at multiple addresses in Banbury under Section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
The activity, which happened last week, comes as part of a proactive operation targeting serious criminality in our area.
Two Banbury men, one aged 39 and the other aged 38, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. The 38-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
Officers say they will share more updates on the operation when they can.
