Anyone spotting Farouq should call 999 and not approach him
Police in Banbury are appealing for information from the public to help locate a 26-year-old man who is wanted on recall to prison in connection with drug supply offences.
Umar Farouq is described as Asian, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, with short black straight hair and facial hair.
In addition to Banbury, he is known to have links to Bicester and the West Midlands.
Investigating officer PC Megan Abraham stated, “Enquiries are ongoing to locate Umar, but we are appealing for the public’s help in tracing Umar Farouq.
“There is no immediate risk to the public, but if you see Umar Farouq, do not approach him and call 999 instead.”
Anyone with information on Farouq’s whereabouts is asked to submit details through the police’s online reporting page or by calling 101, quoting reference number 43250183610.
