Council issues warning of queues

Anyone planning to visit the Farthinghoe Waste Recycling Centre over the Easter weekend is being warned is it expected to be very busy.

West Northamptonshire Council predict queues for visitors and acknowledge these can be frustrating, but ask that people be patient whilst their staff work hard to keep things moving.

The site will be open throughout the weekend from 10am to 4pm, although there may be times when it needs to close temporarily to compact waste, or for traffic management.

Visitors are asked to not arrive before 10am and to pre-sort their waste and recycling before leaving home.   The council also stresses the importance of not blocking the road outside the site.
