Woman and son extremely upset after racially aggravated offence in Banbury

The offender approached the woman as she walked her son to school

Police are investigating a racially aggravated public order offence in Banbury which left a woman and her son extremely upset.

The incident occurred on Middleton Road at around 8.30am on Friday May 8.  

The woman was walking to school with her son when a male, who was stood on the pavement, got in her face and said, “Vote Reform, get all these foreigners out of our country.”

Investigating officer, PC 2125 Sean Allwood, based at Banbury police station, said; “This incident left the woman and her son feeling extremely upset. We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.”
