Heidi Mullen has been charged for ten shoplifting offences

A Banbury woman has been charged following a spate of shopliftings in Banbury retail stores.

40-year-old Heidi Mullen, who’s from the town, was arrested on Thursday (May 29) following what police describe as “losing at hide and seek to the Neighbourhood Team”.

Mullen has been charged for ten shoplifting offences and remanded in custody.   She will appear at Oxford Magistrates Court this morning (Saturday).

    Let’s hope they make her pay compensation for goods and police time then instead of a crap fine which will encourage everyone to shoplift

    shoplifters should do time, a lesson to show them it is not tolerated and they can not get away with it. it puts retailer workers jobs at risk as shops closed because of shop lifters.
