Fire crew called on Sunday afternoon to deal with a blazing vehicle
A fire crew from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue was called to a burning vehicle at the Burton Dassett Country Park on Sunday afternoon (February 28). Fire fighters were on scene for around 20 minutes extinguishing the blaze in a small red vehicle.
The call to emergency services was made at 3:48pm. The burning vehicle was in one of the parking areas on Bonfire Hill.

Country Park Rangers also attended the park with officers from Wellesbourne Police during Sunday. In a statement on social media they said they were “responding to an incident and offering words of advice on Covid-19 restrictions”.
Earlier during the weekend, on Saturday evening Warwickshire Police reported finding a gathering of eight people from different households at the Country Park. Police say that they were all reported for fines for breaching COVID rules.
